Entrepreneur, remember to submit an application for exemption from paying ZUS for December 2024 in November! It’s worth it, because your contributions for December will be financed from the state budget.
From November 1, 2024, entrepreneurs can submit applications for so-called contribution holidays. Contribution holidays are an exemption from paying contributions for your own social insurance (excluding health insurance contributions). The exemption is voluntary and covers one selected month of the year. In 2024, you can take advantage of the exemption for December by submitting an application in November.
By submitting an application, you do not lose out, because contribution holidays do not affect your entitlement to social insurance benefits. Contributions for retirement, disability, sickness and accident insurance (excluding health insurance contributions) for the requested month will be financed from the state budget.
How to do it?
You can find the appropriate application on eZUS (formerly PUE ZUS) in the Płatnik tab in the Application Creator section. Verify in advance whether you have used de minimis aid in the last 3 years, because this should be indicated in the application.
Entrepreneur, do not forget that you can use the contribution holiday again in 2025!
